Students will be providing help in various ways (running samples to lab, helping with data input, etc) to Employee Health Screening Clinics set to start running as soon as possible. Operating 7 days a week, students will take shifts.

Students are assembling to help support the use of computer tablets in the hospital for telehealth. More and more providers in house are using tablets to communicate with patients remotely (when possible and appropriate) to minimize exposures. The students will be supporting this practice by monitoring the locations of the tablets, transporting them, and troubleshooting technical issues with them.


No direct patient contact. Devices will be cleaned before students handle them.

Students are being trained to supervise PPE use (i.e. donning and doffing) throughout the hopsital. They will then be taking shifts throughout UMMC to try to best utilize our existing PPE sources. No direct patient contact.
